Auditions

Not all students must audition for a principal role, but are encouraged to do so. Once you are registered, an audition date and time will be provided for you.

No a Capella allowed, 32 bars in a similar style to the show. Selections from the show are OK.

For the Audition: Please prepare and bring 16 – 32 bars of a song that show your best range and style. Please bring sheet music clearly marked where you would like to begin and end your cut. An accompanist will be provided. We will also be reading scenes from the script. Please be familiar with the story of Willy Wonka and have an idea of who the characters are and their personalities. Please be dressed ready to move/dance. No sandals, no heels, dresses, etc.

Auditions will take place on Monday, February 6th, in Studio B at 5:30PM 6705 Hillcrest Avenue.

Any student interested in the technical side (lights, sound, stage management, crew, etc.) are also encouraged to contact us and join!

You MUST be registered to take part in this production and we have limited spots available.

Rehearsals
